Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil Carlos Chávez

Tuesday, November 18 was a wonderful evening for music, as the National Tour of Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil Carlos Chávez came to La Paz. Presented at the City Theater, the nearly two-hour program featured three performers from La Paz among about 60 talented musicians. It was great, well deserving the standing ovation which came at the end of the program.

Lights on Malecon statues

The La Paz Malecon is known for its beautiful statues, which grace this bayside walkway along its entire length. Beautiful during the day, the statues are now being lighted to add a new dimension to the artwork at night, which is probably the most popular time for visitors and locals alike to enjoy this wonderful resource.
